Managing on Mobile
Overview
The Jeero app for iOS and Android is the same app your crews use. When an owner or manager signs in, it shows the management tabs: Dashboard, Jobs, Schedule, Clients and More. Crew members see the tabs described in Worker App.
Signing In and Roles
Sign in with your email and password, with Sign in with Google, or on an iPhone with Sign in with Apple. These sign in an account that already exists; new accounts are created on the web or by invitation. If you belong to more than one company, you choose which one to work in.
If you also do field work, open More and tap My field work to switch to the crew tabs, where you can clock in, take breaks and run jobs. Back to office, in the same place, returns you to the management tabs.
The app is available in English and Spanish: More, then Language.
The Mobile Dashboard
Three tiles lead the dashboard: Today (the day’s stops and how many are done, in progress, remaining and late), Unpaid invoices, and Needs a decision, which opens Needs attention (also under More): late visits, jobs with no crew or date, and skipped visits.
Below them, the date controls move between days, and each crew has a card showing:
- The crew’s jobs for the day, in order, with travel time between stops.
- Each team member’s state today: time on the clock, Break or Off.
- A Traveling or Working banner for the job the crew is on now.
- A still map of the stops and, once a route is built, its distance and drive time.
Building and Adjusting Routes
The icons at the top of a crew card build the day’s route, restore the optimized order, and open the route screen. There you see the route on a map, reorder stops with the up and down arrows, and set the start and end points. Each plan has a daily limit on route builds, and the route screen shows how many are left. See Route Optimization.
Managing Jobs
The Jobs tab lists every job. Filter by view (Today, Upcoming, Late, Unscheduled, Completed, Recurring, and Cancelled once there is one), by priority and by crew, or search by job or client. A card shows a Photos warning when a photo was flagged, such as one taken away from the job site.
Tap + to create a job. On a job you can edit, clone or delete it, manage its line items, create an invoice, and move it through its statuses.
- Cancel Job calls off a job and keeps its history; Reopen Job puts it back. See Cancelling a Job.
- Skip Visit takes a visit off the route, with a reason and the choice to tell the client. A skipped job then offers Reschedule to the crew’s next day with work, Pick Another Date, or Cancel Job. See Skipping a Visit.
Scheduling
The Schedule tab shows your crews’ work by Day or Week, filtered by crew. Tap a job to open it, + to create one, or Move day to move a whole day. See Scheduling.
Clients, Quotes & Invoices
Clients has its own tab; Quotes and Invoices are under More. Each list has a search.
- Clients – create, edit and delete clients and manage their properties.
- Quotes – create a quote and edit it while it is a draft; send it, mark it accepted or rejected, revise it, or convert it to a job.
- Invoices – created from a job’s screen. Edit the line items, due date and notes of a draft or sent invoice, send it, mark it paid, or void it.
See Clients & Properties, Quotes, and Invoices & Payments.
Crews, Timesheets & Expenses
Also under More:
- Crews – search, create, edit and delete crews.
- Timesheets – each person’s hours for the week.
- Expenses – log an expense with a receipt photo and an optional job, approve expenses, and mark them reimbursed. See Expenses.
Timesheets and Crew Locations are on every plan. Expenses and My Mileage appear on the Pro and Business plans. Profitability, Costs and Job performance appear only on the Business plans.
Live Crew Locations
More, then Crew Locations, shows a live map of your team and the day’s stops, with each person’s clocked-in state and how recently their location updated. See Location & GPS Tracking.
Notifications on the Go
The app sends push notifications for events such as a new quote request, a payment received, or a visit skipped by a crew. Tap a notification to open the job, quote or invoice it is about. Choose what you receive under More, in Notification Preferences; see Notifications & Alerts.
Without a Signal
Work recorded with no connection is saved on the phone and sent when the connection returns. More, then Sync Status, lists what is waiting. See Working Offline.
