Getting Started with Jeero

What Is Jeero?

Jeero is a field service management app: you schedule and dispatch crews, track jobs, and invoice clients from one place. Owners and managers work from the web dashboard or the management view of the mobile app; crews work from the worker view of the same app. See Mobile management app and Worker app.

Who Is Jeero For?

Any business whose team travels to client locations to do the work – landscaping and lawn care, cleaning, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pest control, pool maintenance, handyman services.

The Four Roles

Every person has one of four roles within a company:

Role What They Do
Owner Full access: company settings, billing, team, clients, jobs, and invoices. Only an Owner can change someone’s role.
Manager The same day-to-day access as an Owner.
Crew Lead Field work: sees the schedule, updates job status, clocks in and out, uploads photos, and submits expenses.
Crew Member The same as a Crew Lead, but cannot update job status.

Owners and managers can do field work too: they can be assigned to jobs, clock in, and run jobs. See Team management.

One account can belong to more than one company. The mobile app asks which company to work in when you sign in.

Signing Up

  1. Visit getjeero.com and click Start free trial.
  2. Enter your work email and a password, then click Start Free Trial. Or click Sign up with Google or Sign up with Apple (the sign-in page has the same two buttons).
  3. On Set up your company, enter your first name and company name, then click Create company. You land on your dashboard.

If you signed up with a password, we email you a verification link. Open it – you need a verified email to sign in again.

Your free trial lasts 30 days, and no credit card is required. A banner at the top of the app shows how many days are left, with a Choose a plan button. See Billing and plans.

First Steps

There is no setup wizard – do these in any order from the sidebar:

  1. My Company – add your logo, address, and other details. See Company setup.
  2. Employees – click Invite employee, enter an email, and pick a role. The person sets their own password when they accept.
  3. Clients – click New client, then add a property to it. See Clients and properties.
  4. Jobs – click New job, pick a client and property, assign a crew, and choose the dates. See Jobs.

Your account starts with a one-person crew of your own, so you can assign a job to yourself and work it before you invite anyone.

On desktop, owners and managers get a sidebar on the left, in five sections:

  • Work – Dashboard, Schedule, Jobs, Needs attention (with a badge counting what is waiting), and My field work, which opens the worker view so you can run your own jobs.
  • Sales – Clients, Quotes, Invoices.
  • Money – Expenses, Mileage, Costs, Job performance.
  • Team – Crews, Employees, Timesheets, Crew Locations, Profitability.
  • Settings – Catalog, Forms, My Company.

Entries your plan does not include are hidden.

On a phone, a bottom dock shows Dashboard, Jobs, Schedule, and Clients, with a More menu for everything else. Crew leads and crew members see a simpler worker view with Today and Schedule.

Lists and Tables

Most list pages work the same way:

  • Filter chips at the top show a count for each status or view. Click one to narrow the list; click it again to clear it.
  • Record numbers – jobs, quotes, and invoices lead with their own number (such as #0042). Click anywhere on the row to open the record, or type the number in the search box.
  • Sortable columns – click a column header to sort; click again to reverse. The sort order is kept in the address, so a reload keeps it.
  • On small screens, tables turn into cards.

Language

Jeero is available in English and Spanish. On the web, switch on your My Account page; the choice is saved to your account. In the mobile app, open More → Language; the choice is saved on that device.
