Managing on Mobile

Overview

Jeero has a dedicated mobile app for iOS and Android that puts your whole operation in your pocket. It is the same app your crews use, but when an owner or manager signs in, it automatically shows the management experience – crew dashboards, job and client management, schedules, quotes, invoices, and live crew tracking.

There is nothing extra to learn: the mobile app mirrors what you can do on the web, so you can dispatch a crew, create a job, or check on an invoice whether you are at your desk or out in the field.

Signing In and Roles

When you sign in, Jeero detects your role. Owners and managers see the management tabs by default; crew members see the worker tabs described in the Worker App guide. If you belong to more than one company, you select which company you are working in, and the app shows that company’s data.

Owners and managers are not locked into the office view. If you also do field work, open the More menu and tap Field work to switch into the crew experience – you can clock in, take breaks, and run jobs just like a crew member. Tap Back to office in the same place to return to the management view at any time.

The app is available in English and Spanish. Switch languages any time from More, under Language.

The Mobile Dashboard

The dashboard is your command center for the day. It shows a card for each crew, and you can move between days with the date controls at the top.

Each crew card shows:

  • The crew’s jobs for the day, in order, with travel time between stops.
  • Live status badges for each team member – clocked in, on break, or off – with elapsed time.
  • Route stats (total distance and drive time) once a route is built.
  • Active job banners showing whether a crew is traveling to or working on their current job.

A Needs Attention section highlights unassigned jobs and anything that requires action, so you can spot gaps at a glance.

Building and Adjusting Routes

If your plan includes route optimization, you can build an optimized route for the day right from a crew card, or restore the optimized order. Tap through to the crew’s route screen to see it on a map and reorder stops by hand with the move-up and move-down controls. Each plan has a daily limit on route builds, and the route screen shows how many you have left. This is the same route optimization described in Route Optimization, available right from your phone.

Managing Jobs

The Jobs tab lists every job with powerful filters – by status (unscheduled, scheduled, en route, in progress, paused, completed), by priority, and by crew – plus a search box for finding a job or client quickly.

You can create, edit, clone, and delete jobs from your phone, add line items, and move jobs through their workflow. Job cards flag anything that needs attention, such as photos taken away from the job site.

Scheduling

The Schedule tab gives you a calendar of your crews’ work. Switch between a single-day view and a week view, filter by crew, and tap any day to create or adjust jobs. It is the mobile version of Scheduling.

Clients, Quotes & Invoices

You can manage the full sales side from mobile. Clients has its own tab; Quotes and Invoices live in the More menu.

  • Clients – browse, search, create, edit, and delete clients, view their details, and manage their properties.
  • Quotes – create and edit quotes with line items, and track them through draft, sent, viewed, accepted, rejected, and expired.
  • Invoices – review invoices by status (draft, sent, paid, overdue), search, and create an invoice from a completed job. You can edit a draft or sent invoice’s line items, due date, and notes, and mark it paid.

See Clients & Properties, Quotes, and Invoices & Payments for the full details of each.

Crews, Timesheets & Expenses

The More menu gives you access to the rest of your management tools:

  • Crews – browse, search, create, and edit your crews.
  • Timesheets – review hours worked by crew and date.
  • Expenses – view and manage company expenses, including approving and marking them reimbursed.

Some of these tools depend on your plan: Timesheets, Expenses, Crew Locations, and route optimization only appear when your plan includes them. If you don’t see one of these, it isn’t part of your current plan.

Live Crew Locations

If your plan includes GPS tracking, the mobile app includes the live Crew Locations map, so you can see where every team member is in real time – complete with how recently their location updated and whether they are clocked in. Read more in Location & GPS Tracking.

Notifications on the Go

The app keeps you informed with push notifications for the things that matter – jobs running over time, incomplete jobs, new quote requests, payments, and more. Tap a notification to jump straight to the relevant job, quote, or invoice. You control exactly what you receive in your notification preferences; see Notifications & Alerts.

Tip: Keep push notifications enabled for time-sensitive owner alerts so you hear about problems in the field the moment they happen.
