Scheduling
The Schedule View
Jeero’s schedule is a visual calendar that shows every crew’s workload at a glance. Use the buttons in the top-right of the calendar to switch between Day, Week, and Month views, and use the arrows and Today button to move through dates.
The Day view is a crew timeline: each active crew gets its own column, so you can see exactly who is doing what and when. Each job appears as a card, color-coded by status. Click any job card to jump straight to its details.
On a phone, the schedule switches to a simple weekly list — one card per day with that day’s jobs — so it stays easy to read on a small screen.
How Scheduling Works
To schedule a job, assign it to a crew and give it a date. You can do this when you create the job, or later from the job’s page.
- Crew assignment – Select which crew will handle the job.
- Date – Choose the day the job should be done.
As soon as a job has at least one date, its status moves automatically from Unscheduled to Scheduled. If you later remove every date from a job, it returns to Unscheduled.
Tip: Use the Week view to spot gaps in your crews’ schedules, then open unscheduled jobs and give them a date to fill those gaps.
Multi-Day Jobs
A single job can span several days. Add more than one date to a job and Jeero treats it as a multi-day job, showing it on the calendar on each of its dates with a label like (Day 1 of 3). This is useful for larger projects that take a crew more than one visit to finish.
Rescheduling
Plans change. To move a job to a different day, open the job and reschedule it to a new date. If the job has more than one date, you reschedule each visit individually.
When you reschedule a job that a client is expecting, Jeero keeps the client in the loop automatically — they’re notified when a date is added, changed, or removed for an active job.
Locked Start Times
Most jobs are ordered flexibly within a day – Jeero and your dispatcher decide the best sequence. But when a client expects you at a specific time, set a locked start time. Locked jobs stay pinned to their time slot and will not move during route optimization or reordering.
Locked start times appear with a lock icon on the calendar and on crew dashboard cards so everyone knows the appointment is fixed.
Recurring Jobs
For work that repeats on a regular schedule, set a job to recur instead of recreating it each time. Open a job and add a recurrence with these options:
- Frequency – Daily, Weekly, Biweekly (every two weeks), or Monthly.
- Days of the week – For weekly jobs, pick the specific days the work should land on.
- When it ends – Choose to repeat forever, until a specific end date, or after a set number of times.
Jeero automatically creates upcoming occurrences ahead of time so they show up on the schedule, each already assigned to the same crew. Every occurrence is a normal job you can open, edit, or reschedule on its own.
When you change the original recurring job, you can choose to apply those changes to future occurrences — but only the ones you haven’t already customized. Any occurrence you’ve edited individually keeps its own changes.
If you stop a recurrence, occurrences you never touched are removed, while any you’ve already customized stay on the schedule as regular standalone jobs.
Crew Schedule Dashboard Cards
Each crew has a dashboard card that lists their jobs for the day in order. Each job shows its name, client, address, current status, and estimated arrival and departure times once the crew’s route has been built (locked jobs show their fixed start time with a lock icon). As crews update job statuses from the mobile app, the changes appear the next time you load the dashboard.
Tip: Review each crew’s dashboard card before the workday starts to confirm the job order makes sense and nothing is missing.
How the Schedule Works With Route Building
The schedule decides who does a job and on which day; route building decides the best order to do that day’s jobs in. They work together:
- Job cards on the Day view show their estimated arrival and departure times once you’ve built and optimized that crew’s route for the day.
- Until a route is built, jobs without a locked start time are shown at the crew’s default start time as a placeholder.
- Reordering a crew’s jobs and re-optimizing routes is done from the route view, reachable from the per-crew links above the calendar — not on the calendar itself, which is read-only.
For everything about optimizing the order of a day’s stops, see the Route Optimization guide.
