Privacy Policy

Jeero ("we," "our," or "us") provides a field service management platform that enables businesses to manage operations and communicate with their customers. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information: Personal Information (name, phone number, email address), Business Information (company name, client and property addresses, job details, service history), Location Data (precise GPS location of field workers while they are clocked in — see section 2), Usage Data (interactions with our platform and logs), and Diagnostics (crash reports and performance data from our mobile app).

2. Location Data

If your company enables GPS tracking, the Jeero mobile app collects your precise location while you are clocked in — including in the background, when the app is closed or not in use — so that dispatch can see the crew on the live map and your travel mileage is recorded automatically for reimbursement. Continuous collection starts at clock-in and stops at clock-out; a single location point is also recorded when you update a job's status (for example, On My Way or Finished) so the job timeline is accurate. Your location is visible only to your own company — never to other companies, advertisers, or data brokers — and is never used for advertising or sold. You are asked for permission before any location is collected, and you can decline or withdraw permission at any time in your device settings; the app remains fully usable without location access, with only the live-map and automatic-mileage features unavailable. Raw GPS location points are automatically deleted after 90 days.

3. How We Use Information

We use collected information to provide and operate the Jeero platform, facilitate communication between businesses and their customers, show crew locations to dispatchers and record travel mileage while workers are clocked in, send transactional SMS notifications (e.g., appointment reminders, job updates, invoices), and improve our services and user experience.

4. SMS Communications

By providing your phone number, you consent to receive SMS messages related to appointment scheduling and reminders, job status updates, and billing and invoices. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance.

5. Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Field workers' location data is shared with their own company (their employer on Jeero) as described in section 2. We share information only with service providers necessary to operate our platform — payment processing (Stripe), maps and address lookup (Mapbox), crash reporting (Sentry), push notifications (Expo), and email/SMS delivery providers — each bound to protect it, or to comply with legal obligations.

6. Data Retention

Raw GPS location points are retained for 90 days and then automatically deleted; derived records such as mileage totals and timesheets are kept as part of your company's business records. When you delete your account, your personal information (name, email, phone number, location history, and notification data) is permanently removed immediately; work records your employer is legally required to keep (timesheets, expenses, job history) are retained in de-identified form. If you are the only owner of a company, the company is scheduled for deletion: access ends immediately and all of its business data is permanently deleted after a 30-day grace window, during which you can contact support to cancel.

7. Data Security

We implement reasonable safeguards to protect your information from unauthorized access or disclosure.

8. Your Rights

You may request access to your data or opt out of communications at any time. You can delete your account yourself at any time — in the mobile app under More → Delete Account, or on the web under My Account — which permanently removes your personal data as described in section 6. You can withdraw location permission at any time in your device settings.
